Journey maps are an essential part of any UX toolkit. In this one-day training session, which includes many hands-on exercises, you’ll learn which type of map is best suited for which purpose and what’s important when creating them.

User journeys help you align user needs at various touchpoints with business requirements. They are particularly valuable in complex environments. Visual mapping techniques are a key tool in this process.
This training introduces you to the basics of journey mapping and explains the mindset behind it: It’s not just the result that matters, but also the mapping process itself. It creates “visual alignment”: a shared understanding of how a team or organization moves from the current state to the desired state, identifies opportunities, documents approaches and ideas, and prioritizes them for implementation in coordination with stakeholders.
The goal of this training is to confidently apply mapping methods, engage stakeholders, and communicate the value of journey mapping for the strategic alignment of products and services, including within your own organization.
