The theme for the upcoming Working Products event in Hamburg-Winterhude has not yet been finalized. However, last year’s call for papers already hints at it: “We believe and are certain that artificial intelligence will once again play an important role.” The dates are also already set: September 7 and 8 for the online workshops, and September 10 and 11, 2026, for the in-person conference.

Every year, the “Conference for People Who Build Products” serves as a good barometer for where product design, design systems, and collaborative work are headed. The industry association for user experience and usability professionals (German UPA) is organizing the UX Festival for the third time. In 2024, nearly 400 UX professionals gathered. On both days, a perfectly moderated Barcamp featuring exciting sessions took place. We recommend this event to those just starting their careers to gain valuable insights from projects, as well as to experienced UX professionals looking to gain new inspiration and network. There will also be a UX&I Beach Lounge again this year.

UXcamp Europe 26

For us, UXcamp Europe is one of the highlights of the UX calendar: an open atmosphere, engaged participants, and sessions that often address topics closer to our own than many conference programs do. What makes the Barcamp format special is that the program is created on-site by the community, for the community. In addition to practical UX topics, social issues and new perspectives on our work are also discussed. Our tip: Keep your eyes open and mark the date on your calendar early, because in recent years, tickets have sold out within minutes. Those who attend will experience two days of intensive discussion and plenty of inspiration.
