Careers

Join us in designing digital solutions for tricky problems.

Are you a free spirit with talent, expertise, and empathy?
And do you love thinking outside the box? Then we’re looking for you.

We currently have no open positions.

Our team is currently full, but things never stay quiet for long at UX&I. Follow us on LinkedIn so you’ll be the first to know when we’re looking to expand our team again. We can’t wait to see who’ll be the next person to join us on this journey.

We don’t just think in a human-centered way, we work that way, too.

That’s why we put a lot of responsibility in everyone’s hands. You know best when you need to pick up your child, which topics you want to drive forward, and how you’d like to use 20% of your work time outside of client projects, for example, to further your education, delve deeper into your own projects, or help shape our organization.

Titles and badges don’t mean much to us; what matters is the experience you bring to the table. Because at UX&I, decisions aren’t made from the top down: they’re made by you.

We’re also a self-organized company. But we’d be happy to tell you more about that during the interview.

People notice how much our culture means to us.

  • “Family-friendly employer 2021–2024 – audit, assess, award” seal from the Bertelsmann Stiftung
  • “Best Employers, small to mid-sized companies” badge from Great Place to Work Germany 2024
  • “Best Employers NRW” badge from Great Place to Work Germany 2024
  • “Best Employers ICT” badge from Great Place to Work Germany 2024
  • kununu “Top Company 2024” badge

Here’s what you can look forward to

  1. Your team

Thanks to the extensive experience of our employees, we have a wealth of knowledge from which you can learn, even if you already bring a lot of expertise to the table.

  2. Family-friendly and flexible

It doesn’t always have to be a 40-hour week, and the workday doesn’t always start at 9 a.m. Our flexibility begins precisely when circumstances change. Whether you need to work more or fewer hours, for whatever reason, it’s not a taboo topic here; it’s part of our culture.

  3. Hybrid work

Work from home or in the office, whatever works best for your lifestyle and the project at hand. However, we’d like you to work in the office at least 2 days a month. That’s why we recommend living within commuting distance. You decide what “commuting distance” means to you.

  4. Health

You’ll be well covered with the private supplemental insurance from Allianz Health Insurance.

  5. 4+1 model

We invest 20% of our working time in helping to shape our organization and in our training. You can focus your own development in whatever areas you see fit.

  6. Circle-based organization

Our organizational model is a core focus for us. The way we structure ourselves and interact with one another is continuously refined by everyone. We have no hierarchies, but rather flexible roles within non-hierarchical circles, so that everyone can reach their full potential.

  7. Green mobility

Want to get around in an especially eco-friendly way? Chat with Marie about your Jobrad, your Deutschlandticket, and/or the right Bahncard or car-sharing services for you.

  8. High-quality equipment

Here’s what you’ll get: a MacBook Pro, a cell phone with a service plan, wireless noise-canceling headphones from Sony, an Invisible Laptop Stand from Moft, a backpack from Salzen, a UX&I-branded laptop sleeve, and a mouse and keyboard from Apple or your favorite manufacturer.

  9. Internet

We’ll cover the cost of your internet connection for working from home, up to €50 per month.
