AI Design Sprint® with UX&I

AI Design Sprint®: Turning AI pressure into a clear plan

Everyone’s talking about AI, and you’re expected to deliver, but where exactly? The AI Design Sprint® brings product, business, UX, and tech teams together and, in just a few days, clarifies where AI can create real value for your organization. Developed by 33A, recommended by the creator of the Google Design Sprint, and facilitated by us.

Two short calls, one day on-site.

The pressure is real. The clarity isn’t.

  1. Where does AI provide real value?

For your business and for your users: not every AI idea ultimately benefits both. Without this clarification, budget gets poured into something that nobody will need later on.

  2. What is realistically feasible?

With your data, your systems, in your reality. Many ideas sound great in the pitch but fail because of interfaces that no one checked beforehand.

  3. What are the risks?

Data protection, dependencies, ethical pitfalls. Risks must be addressed before implementation, not after, otherwise the corrections will be costly.

What is the AI Design Sprint®?

What is the AI Design Sprint®?

A focused workshop format that brings together product, business, UX, and technology perspectives in a structured decision-making process. Together, you’ll develop a viable concept, assess its technical feasibility, and decide whether the next step should be a prototype or direct implementation. Developed by 33A in Denmark, facilitated by us.

Who is it for?

For product and innovation leaders who want to use AI effectively, with their team, without any prior technical knowledge. We’ll take care of the rest.

Here’s how the AI Design Sprint works

1. Kickoff

1. Kickoff

Remote call (1–2 hours): We define the key elements: personas, product vision, and user journey, so everyone is on the same page.

2. Preparation

2. Preparation

We’ll prepare for Decision Day so that everything runs smoothly on-site: no downtime, no warm-up sessions at your expense.

3. Decision Day

3. Decision Day

A full day on-site with product managers and key stakeholders. This is where the viable concept takes shape, and the decision is made on how to proceed.

4. Tech Check

4. Tech Check

Remote call (1–2 hours): We assess your system landscape, data sources, and risks, and tell you honestly what’s technically feasible and what isn’t.

What you’ll take away

What you’ll take away

At the end of the sprint, you won’t be left with a stack of slides to file away, but rather a decision that holds up:

  • A validated concept for optimizing your product, service, or workflow with AI
  • Clarity on potential, risks, and technical constraints
  • A solid foundation for your investment decisions
  • The decision: Prototype or direct implementation
  • A smooth handover to your product and tech teams

Does this fit your project? Let’s talk.

Nadine Pieper
“I’ve led countless Design Sprints, both remotely and in person. For me, one thing matters most in the AI Design Sprint®: We think about AI in terms of the value it creates, not the technology. The end result is a decision your team can actually use to move forward.”

Frequently asked questions about the AI Design Sprint

What is an AI Design Sprint®?

A structured workshop format that helps you determine, in just a few days, where and how AI can deliver real value in a product, service, or workflow, and whether the next step should be a prototype or direct implementation.

What are the phases of the AI Design Sprint®?

Four: kickoff (remote), preparation by us, an on-site Decision Day, and a Tech Check (remote). The result is a viable concept, including a decision on the next step.

When is an AI Design Sprint® a good idea?

Whenever the pressure to adopt AI is high but the direction is unclear. Instead of exploring in an unstructured way, you’ll gain a solid basis for decision-making before committing any budget.

Does our team need prior technical knowledge of AI?

No. This format is designed for product and business professionals. We make the technology accessible and bridge the gap between business, UX, and tech: you don’t need any prior knowledge.

Will the sprint take place remotely or in person?

Both. The kickoff and Tech Check take place remotely (1–2 hours each), while Decision Day is a full-day workshop held on-site at your location, right where the decisions are made.

What happens after the sprint?

You’ve made a clear decision: prototype or direct implementation. Plus a smooth handover to your product and tech teams, so the next step gets off to a frictionless start.

Bring clarity to your AI decisions.

Tell us about your project. In a brief intro call, we’ll figure out whether the AI Design Sprint is right for you: no obligation, and with concrete answers.
