UX&I is among the best employers in North Rhine-Westphalia

Three Great Place to Work glass trophies for UX&I GmbH: Best Employers 2022 in NRW, small mid-sized businesses and ITK

UX&I has received three more awards: Based on employee surveys, Great Place to Work® has named the UX consulting firm one of the best employers in North Rhine-Westphalia, among small and medium-sized businesses, and in the information technology and telecommunications sectors.

On April 7, it was that time of year again: The international research and consulting institute Great Place to Work® honored the winners of its annual employer competition. Organizations are certified at the international, national, regional, and industry-specific levels. The certification is based on anonymous employee surveys as well as HR and leadership practices and tools. The competition focuses on aspects such as fairness, respect, pride, credibility, and team spirit.

UX&I received a special award in the following three categories:

  • Best employers in North Rhine-Westphalia
  • Best employers among small and medium-sized businesses
  • Best Employers in Information and Communication Technology (ICT)

UX&I’s sociocratic organizational model, which is focused on participation and fairness, is particularly well-received internally. A full 100% of employees stated that, all things considered, UX&I is a very good place to work. This contrasts with an average of just 59% in surveys of 1,000 companies over the past 5 years. Even the best companies in North Rhine-Westphalia averaged only 87% in 2022.

“Our organization thrives on participation. This is built on trust and self-organization. Not only does this create flexibility, but it also gives me the opportunity to reach my full potential,” says Christian Korff, Senior UX consultant.

Andreas Schubert, Managing Director of Great Place to Work® Germany, attributes the importance of a supportive corporate culture and a good work-life balance to the pandemic: “The pandemic has brought new priorities to light. These include care, mental and physical health, as well as a new culture of remote leadership, the promotion of team spirit, and trusting communication. Thanks to their excellent corporate culture, our winning companies are well-equipped for the future.”
