UX&I is the best-known UX company in the DACH region

In the German UPA’s recently published 2025 Industry Report, UX&I ranks first among the best-known UX departments and companies.

In response to the question, “Which companies in the German-speaking region come to mind immediately when you think of usability/UX?” UX&I was by far the most frequently mentioned and tops the top 3 with 86 votes, ahead of UID (58 votes) and eresult (51 votes).

In recent years, UX&I has consistently ranked among the top 3 most frequently mentioned companies in the industry report. The fact that we’ve now taken the top spot for the first time makes us especially proud and demonstrates how consistently our work is recognized. We’d especially like to extend a big thank you to our clients.

“I’m very pleased with this result. What’s especially nice is that our reputation is based primarily on the fact that our clients are satisfied, and that they spread the word.” (Tobias Schlei, managing director of UX&I)

“This goal wasn’t just in our OKRs; we had even visualized it for ourselves as a finished press release. With the headline: ‘UX&I is the best-known UX company.’ That image has really stuck with me. The fact that it’s now a reality feels very special. And it shows what’s possible when we consistently pull together as a team.” (Alina Binzer, Marketer at UX&I)

UX as a lever for impact, collaboration, and efficiency

The industry report also shows that UX is becoming more strategic, interdisciplinary, and relevant, especially in B2B organizations. 85% of the UX professionals surveyed work on B2B projects. Cross-disciplinary teamwork, for example with IT, design, or product managers, is seen as a key success factor. In addition, topics such as UX writing, UX research, and accessibility continue to gain importance. They are considered clearly underestimated levers in the industry, especially where complex products must deliver real added value. These developments are also reflected in our daily work: UX is not just an add-on, especially in complex environments. UX is a key driver of business success.

Special thanks go to the German UPA for its commitment to the UX community and its consistent efforts to promote visibility, quality, and professionalization. Whether through its annual industry report, its immense range of knowledge resources, or events like the UX Festival, the German UPA creates spaces for exchange, development, and networking that extend far beyond the UX bubble.
