UX&I ranks among the top 5 most well-known UX companies

As early as 2020, UX&I was listed in the German UPA’s industry report as one of the best-known UX companies in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. In this year’s report from the professional association, UX&I has even improved its ranking.

For the 15th time, the German UPA, the professional association of German usability and user experience professionals, has published its annual industry report. The report highlights the current state of the industry, training and career paths, earning potential, as well as future trends and opportunities. In addition, the German UPA examines which companies are currently the best known. In response to the question, “Which companies in the German-speaking world come to mind immediately when you think of usability/UX?” UX&I was ranked fifth.

“It’s an important validation for us that our approach is successful and widely recognized. For years, we’ve been working to view the user- and human-centered approach not just as a service, but as our very purpose. This means, for example, that we design our internal structure to put people at the center. I believe this mindset is incredibly contagious and our greatest factor for success,” said Tobias Schlei, Managing Director at UX&I.

The fact that UX&I’s holistic, human-centered approach works is also demonstrated by various awards received this year, such as the Bertelsmann Foundation’s “Family-Friendly Company” seal and its certification as a “Great Place to Work®.”

A look at the demographic analysis in the report shows that UX&I is well above the industry average in terms of employee professional experience, at 13 years. There is still an imbalance in gender distribution: at UX&I, 28% of employees are women and 72% are men, compared to the industry average of 47% to 53%.”“We want to lay all the groundwork to truly embody diversity and equality as a company,” says Nina Souris, UX Lead at UX&I. “This year, for example, we signed the Diversity Charter and committed to its guiding principles. At the same time, we’re currently developing a compensation model that eliminates the gender pay gap and other inequalities. There’s a lot to do, and I’m looking forward to it.”
